Pupil Premium
Purpose The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to schools to help raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils, including those who are eligible for free school meals, those in care, and children of armed forces personnel. Our aim is to ensure that every pupil, regardless of their background, achieves their full potential. We are committed to narrowing the achievement gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers.
Objectives
- To strengthening leadership of Pupil Premium in our schools.
- Improve academic outcomes for disadvantaged pupils across the MAT.
- Improve attendance for disadvantaged pupils across the MAT.
- Foster a culture of high expectations for all pupils where staff commit to the principle that it is a privilege to work with pupils who are disadvantaged.
- Ensure that all schools create a nurturing environment that addresses the social and emotional needs of disadvantaged students, promoting resilience and well -being.
