Executive Leader's Welcome

As the new Executive Headteacher of Lydeard St Lawrence Community Primary School, I would like to introduce myself and extend a warm welcome to the school community. It is with great pleasure that I take on the role of Executive Headteacher and I look forward to working alongside you, the staff, and most importantly, the pupils.

I am incredibly passionate about education and ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. With over 20 years of experience in the education, I am dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where your child can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

As we embark on this journey together, I believe that a strong partnership between home and school is vital for the success of our students. I encourage open communication and collaboration, and I am committed to working closely with you to support your child’s learning and development.

I will be working closely with Miss Lihou, so we can continue to build on the strong foundations that have already been established. Together, we have a vision for  Lydeard  St Lawrence to be a place where every child feels valued, inspired, and challenged to achieve their very best.

 I will be leading two other schools, alongside  Lydeard St Lawrence Church school and my time will be divided between them.  I very much see these three schools as a partnership and hope to bring the staff, children and communities together to celebrate our successes.

I am looking forward to meeting you all and the days I am at the school I will be welcoming pupils on the school gate.  I will also be available to chat with families – please do come and say hello!
